“Standing up our subsidiary in Texas and bringing on seasoned security industry veterans sends a clear signal about our push to bring real-time intrusion monitoring to the O&G market”

Additionally, the company announces the hire of two senior executives to their Texas-based team. These hires follow a $2.3M Series-A investment round by Quantum Technology Sciences to commercialize the company’s seismic-acoustic intrusion detection technology.

Rick Isenhower will lead business development as the vice president of sales. Isenhower brings 25 years of sales experience in utility, oil & gas, and transportation verticals. Previously, Isenhower served his country as a sergeant and law enforcement specialist in the U.S. Air Force.

Allen Gillam will act as director of field engineering. Also a veteran, Gillam served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, where he was a submarine engineering officer. Following that, he founded Compass & Harbor, Inc. where he led specification, design, and development of critical business applications. A graduate of Texas A & M University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Gillam also graduated top of his class at the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School.

“Standing up our subsidiary in Texas and bringing on seasoned security industry veterans sends a clear signal about our push to bring real-time intrusion monitoring to the O&G market,” says Quantum CEO Mark Tinker, PhD.

Quantum’s real-time intrusion notification solution detects threats from the air, water, land, and underground. Patent-pending, buried, vibration sensors combined with a suite of proprietary detection and classification algorithms provide significantly greater target detection range than is currently available on the market. Uniquely effective as a stand-alone solution, the value of Quantum applied as an overlay to traditional solutions presents unparalleled situational awareness. Quantum products can identify and track multiple threats simultaneously from a single device. Quantum’s technology doesn’t require line of site to an intruder preventing threats from being obscured by weather, darkness, or vegetation.
