History
QTSI was founded in 1991 as a Florida registered corporation by CEO Freddie “Chick” Garcia, Jr.. Mr. Garcia recognized a niche where science, engineering, and high technology specialties could thrive in a company that emphasizes customer requirements and relationships.
QTSI initially focused on opportunities within Florida’s high technology corridor, which includes a base of commercial, academic, and government customers within the central Florida, Tampa, and Kennedy Space Center/Patrick Air Force Base area.
The company grew steadily in size and revenue from its inception, serving principally government and military customers at the regional and national level. In March 2006, it converted from a founder-owned to an employee-owned company.
Corporate headquarters are located in Cocoa Beach, Florida. QTSI has additional operational offices in Tampa and on site at Patrick and MacDill Air Force Bases.
