Today's world is data rich. Data abounds, but is more readily produced than utilized. Although storage is inexpensive, unanalyzed data is of little or no value. Converting raw data into actionable information requires in-depth scientific, mathematical, and computational abilities. Converting raw data into actionable information in a real time, mission-critical environment requires these abilities plus enterprise-wide system engineering, software engineering, and data science. At QTSI, these abilities culminate in what we call a Science Based Data Engine.
QTSI is expert at developing, operating, and maintaining custom, high performance visualization tools and data centers. We have the ability to acquire, catalog, analyze, and convert inputs of many types into actionable information. In some cases, the input is in the form of a geophysical or other technical data structure. In other cases, the input is natural language or text-based information being propagated through various avenues including the Internet and other business, government, or commercial media.
A critical part of any analytical system is to produce repeatable results irrespective of system complexity or operator. Producing results 24/7, in near real-time distinguishes a SBDE from a "toolbox" and is what makes QTSI's SBDEs so valuable.
